BLOGGING FOR DUMMIES!!

That would be me. I just previewed the blog and I don't know how to move the top photo closer to the other ones I downloaded. I tried reading some help sites, but I don't have a lot of patience. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the photos just seem to have a mind of their own. My suggestion would be to delete them all and load again and see how that goes. I also wanted to thank you for dropping by my blog.... We always try to holiday near the water so you are very blessed to live by it....
Take care

Hi there!
It`s frustrating isn`t it! When the blog doesn`t do what you want it to do! Much like computers in general I think :-)

What you can try is this:
1. The easiest way is to point the cursor in front of the picture and click the backspace button if you want to move it upwards and the space button if you want to move it downwards.

If that doesn`t work....

2. Click the little tag where it says Edit html. Then your post with your text and your photos will be transformed into html code. It looks like total gibberige but you don`t have to understand it... Just look closely at the html code and you can identify each picture (usually by the file name you have given them when you saved them in your computer). When you have identified the picture you want to move upwards or downwards just put the cursor in front of the html text line and click the backspace button if you want to move it upwards and the space button if you want to move it downwards.

I hope this is understandable to you! It was very difficult to explain it in english. I now all the "computer words" in swedish you see!

Good luck and welcome to the Land of Blogs!

Jeanette

I'm puzzled. Did you put the title in the little box at the top of the post? It does take a bit of practice to get these things right, but don't give up! You are doing a great job, so keep it up!

Have a great day!

Hugs,
Debbie
